Applying large anatomical pads in a standing position
Pull the fixation pants up to the middle of your thighs. Fold the pattern lengthwise into a boat shape and place it on top of the fixation pants. The wide side should be facing backwards.
Pass the template in a boat shape through your legs from front to back, above the fixation pants. Unfold the pad sideways at the front without pulling the product up. Check that the pad is centred by aligning the line of the wetness indicator with your spine.
Pull up the fixation pants and check the fit in the groin and crotch. Make sure that the folds of your thighs are positioned outside the fixation pants.
Application of large anatomical templates while lying down
Lie down on your side and pull the fixation pants up to below your knees. Unfold the pattern and fold it lengthwise into a boat shape, with the wide side being the back. Pull the template through your legs from front to back in the shape of a boat.
Pull the template back a little and unfold the back first, followed by the front. Take care not to pull the product up. Check the centred fit by aligning the line of the wetness indicator with your spine.
